| Set of ten Coalport Soup Bowls. A tea service with this pattern appears in Geoffrey Godden's "An Illustrated Encyclopedia of British Pottery and Porcelain" on page 96, plate #164. Like the tea service, the soup bowls are unmarked, but attributable to Coalport by the pattern. Godden gives the pattern number as 629. The soup bowls are in overall good condition for age, with some wear to the gilt and overglaze color. There are no chips or cracks. 10.25" diameter. Circa 1810-1815. | |||||||||||
