12th C., Masterpiece Khmer Bronze Four-Armed Vishnu

Masterpiece and large Khmer bronze four-armed Vishnu standing on a rectangular base and holding four attributes in his hands; chakra, conch shell, lotus seed and bottle of nectar, wearing short sampot with a fold panel in front. His face represents ridged eyebrows, bulging eyes, broad nose and pouting lips. He is adorned with conical-shaped diadem, earrings, pectoral, armlets and bracelets (please see part 2 also for more photos).

Age: Cambodia, Angkor Vat period, circa 12th century
Measurement: Height 21.5 C.M. / Width 10.7 C.M. (size excluding stand)
Condition: Excellent condition and excellent green patina overall (very tiny chip at the end of two fingers). Please refer to the enlargement photos for more details.
