A crisply cast figure of buddha entwined with the snake,the mandala formed of the multiple heads.
The figure has sustained some damage at the top of the mandala probably through burial or as a result of casting flaws. It has substantial degredation with extensive azurite encrustation and cuprite deposits on the surface. 12th/13th century. Height 16.8 cm, width at base 7cm.
