A fine Liao petal shaped dish with crisply moulded foliate decorated interior under a transparent glaze. The glaze on the exterior falls short of the base to reveal the buff earthenware body.. There are three stilt marks on the interior and small areas of iridescence. There are a few minute frits on the rim only. This piece was sold by Bluett in the 1960’s to Mrs. Beryl Ingelis (Lady Beryl Mischon) of Camden Hill. Liao Dynasty 10th c.

A southern Song dynasty four handled qingbai jar of well potted rounded form with a cut translucent body and applied with an even glaze which shows minimal degradation. Perfect apart from a few minor frits around the edge of the foot.Height 12.5 cm.Width 13 cm.12th.c.

A good Chinese song dynasty pottery bowl of even dark brown tone with the rim glazed in white. The glaze of tea-dust tone falls short of the well-potted foot to reveal the pale buff body. There are a few very minor frits on the foot but otherwise the piece is in perfect condition.Diameter 16cm.(6.25ins) Height 7cm.(2.75ins).

A good Liao period white vessel with strap handle.The high fired pottery body well modelled and springing from a neatly finished foot. The even,faintly crackled glaze has an attractive pinkish tone where it thins.There is no damage and the glaze is in fine condition.Liao period circa 10th c. AD. Height 12.75 cm.5 ins.
