VINTAGE TAXCO SILVER & MIXED METAL AZTEC BRACELET
Fabulous Taxco silver pre-eagle bracelet. This interesting and very unusual Mexican Silver Bracelet consist of six sterling silver panel, each with the copper plaque holding a silver cartouche. Each silver cartouche is different, three of them contain heads of Aztec Chiefs wearing ceremonial head dresses, one contains the Aztec Calendar, one contains an image of the Mexican Eagle with a serpent in it's beak, and there is also a silver cartouche of a nude woman lying accross a partial Aztec Calendar. This bracelet is signed " STERLING 925 TAXCO " on its clasp. It is also signed " HECHO. EN. MEXICO " on the panel that the clasp is inserted to. This bracelet measures 6 3/4" long and its widest panel is 1 1/4" wide. This is truly a Spectacular example of a Taxco Silversmith's creation!! It is in very fine condition!!
