DESCRIPTION:
A small heavy baluster period dram or cordial glass, in proportion more like a wine glass, has a round funnel bowl with heavy base above a short section of plain stem leading to a slightly elongated teared ball knop above a true baluster basal knop standing on a conical folded foot. The bowl is quite small being of cordial size i.e. under 1 fl oz. DIMENSIONS: Height 4½ inches; Bowl diameter 1¾ inches; Foot diameter 2⅛ inches. CONDITION: In good original and unrestored condition with the expected patterns of wear found in a glass of this age. |
