$175

An unusual small (approximately 2-1/4 inches in diameter)Egyptian or Syrian glass bracelet -- or possibly a hair ornament -- this ribbed beauty is so fully oxidized that it shimmers like a peacock's tail. The opalescence is so complete that it is hard to realize that the original color was carnelian red! Dating from about 400 to 600 B.C., it will be a superb addition to a collector's cabinet.
