A very lively dragon spirals around the body of this large blue-decorated porcelain wine jar. Aside from two craquelure webs and a small pewter plug, the piece is in excellent condition., with no breaks or chips Korean, Eighteenth Century, approximately 10-1/2 inches tall and eight inches in diameter.
This small bronze model of a cooking pot exemplifies the subtle elegance of ancient Korean art. Almost devoid of surface decoration, the bottom piece tapers very slightly in and has a small raised rim. The lid rises in a simple ogee line to another raised rim. Excellent condition. Full length approximately 5-3/8 inches and approximately 2-7/8 inches wide. Korea, Seventh to Ninth Centuries A.D.
