| This excellent little example of ancient Roman glass was uncovered in Southern France. Probably a cosmetic bottle, its bulbous little body bears three bold applied bosses of lions heads, all in a fine shade of blue-green. Approximately 2-1/4 inches tall and the same wide, it is in excellent condition, with a generalized iridescence of age. First or Second Century. | |||||||
