| A rare and attractive form of overshot glass -- a plain base rolled in glass chips and refired -- is this globular ink-well or vase, approximately 3-1/4 inches in diameter. In this instance, the piece was then polished to lend the body a metallic golden look, studded with jewels. American, circa 1875, it is in mint condition. | |||||||
