This is a heavily decorated Arita porcelain tazza produced by the Koransha Company studio, dating 1875 - 1885. There is some light wear to the ground color, but it is almost unidentifiable. There are not no chips or restorations. This piece measures 9.5" in diameter and is 2.25" in height.
These vases have an unusual high glaze blue ground with heavily applied enamel that appears to simulate moriage enamel. Other than some wear to the gold around the rim, the condition is excellent. They date about 1875 and measure 9.9" x 5".
This vase has an appealing meiping form combined with a restrained floral and foliate motif. The flowers are raised, with the front and center flower having a very subtle rose colored hue to it. It measures 12.5" x 10" and dates about 1890 - 1910. The condition is excellent.
This is an authentic late 19th century Japanese Imari fish plate, dating about 1870 - 1880. It is fairly large in size, measuring 15" x 10.25". The condition is excellent, although it should be noted that there is some ORIGINAL fritting and crazing around the edges.
The soft charcoal gray color of the koi contrast nicely with the blue and white background of this Arita porcelain charger. It is Meiji Period, dating about 1880 and it is in excellent condition. The diameter is 16.5".
This is an unusually decorated Kutani vase, with fancy tail goldfish executed in fine detail. It is artist signed on the underside and in excellent condition. It measures 9.5" x 6" and dates about 1880 - 1900.
The decoration on this vase is more in keeping with the work of Hichozan and is not typical of Koransha marked pieces. This vase is in excellent condition with few signs of wear and it measures 12" x 6". The red Koransha mark dates it about 1880.
This slender vase shows a shoreline scene surrounded by moths over a pink floral ground. There is some minor wear near the top of the vase, but chips or restorations. It dates back to the late Meiji Period or early Taisho Period, about 1910 - 1920.
This is a finely decorated Japanese studio vase signed by the artist Kenzan. The simplicity of the motif and the unusual form make it a very elegant piece. It measures 6.25" x 3.25" and dates about 1900 - 1920. The condition is excellent.
