This very well made 19th C. Chinese silver inlaid bronze incense burner is 2 7/8” high, 4 ½” wide (with handles is 7” wide). Its two handles are formed in the shape of beast heads. Two silver inlaid “Qi Lin” rising from ocean and surrounded by fire and clouds appear on either side of the piece. It has an unusual dragon mark on the bottom. It is in excellent condition.

This very well carved black and celadon jade (jadeite) bead necklace is an early 20th century product. All the beads are well carved; it is quite possible this was a court necklace. After being restrung, it is a beautiful 31” long necklace now. It has 36 black beads and 4 celadon beads. The black beads are about 11/16” in diameter; the celadon beads are about 13/16” in diameter. The colors are very even and the carvings are superb. It is in excellent condition.

This very nice archaic style bronze incense burner is an early 20th century product. There are stylized dragons over the entire body and three small elephant heads as decorative handles. On the top of the cover, a lion with a large tail plays with a ball. It is 11” high and 6” at the widest part. It is in excellent condition.

This unusual carved ivory export cosmetic box is an early 19th century product. The hibiscus (or maybe peony) and its buds, leaves and branch were very carefully carved over the entire box. It is 3 ½” high and 4 ½” in diameter. It is in excellent condition.

This ivory carving of the goddess of mercy, Guan-Yin, is an early 20th century product. It depicts Guan-Yin holding a pearl in one hand and a vase in the other. There is a tiny sitting Buddha in her hair. It is 9” high (with fitted hard wood base it is 10” high), 2 ½” wide and 1 1/8” thick. The carving is superb and it is in excellent condition.

This early 20th century Chinese celadon (Long Quan style) bird and bamboo vase is 8 ½” high (with fitted hard wood base it is 9 Ό” high), 5” wide and around 3” thick. It came with a gold and brown silk brocade box. Aside from a tiny repair on the bird’s beak, it is in great condition.

This pair of ivory carvings of ladies and lotus was completed in the mid 19th century. They depict aristocratic ladies holding stylized bouquets of reeds and lotus. Mythical deer are leaning over their robes. The carving is superb. Their traditional hairstyles, peaceful faces and detailed silk robes, playful deer and floral design bases really contribute to the overall quality of the pieces. This 19th century red and gold vase is 9 1/8” high, 3 Ό” on the widest part and 1 Ύ” thick. It depicts a crane resting on a plum blossom tree. Some bamboo and pine trees and an inscription in Chinese are on the rest of the body. The calligraphy and picture are well executed. Unfortunately, the four or six character date mark on the bottom has been rubbed off. It is in excellent condition.

This 19th century blue and white moon flask with handles is 12” high, 8” wide and 3 ½” thick. It depicts two lions (Shi Zhi) surround by clouds playing with balls. There is a Kang Xi honorable mark on the bottom. Aside from one small chip on the handle, small hairline cracks on the bottom and a few flaws from firing, it is in good condition.
