This unusual large blue and white incense pot is a Kang Xi period (1662~1722) product. It is 5 1/2" high and 9 3/8" in diameter. On the exterior, there are six sitting Buddhist monks who have achieved enlightenment. Their worthy position is indicated by the halos around their heads. They are surrounded by a swirl cloud pattern. Also, there are clouds around the neck of the pot. This is a 18th or 19th century Chinese green glazed and carved porcelain vase signed by “Wang Bing Rong” who is considered one of the best porcelain carvers of that period. His dates are somewhat confusing. Some records say he was born in 1736 and died in 1795. Other records have him living from 1862 to 1908. Perhaps the most appropriate approach was taken by Christie’s. This is a set of twelve late Qing Dynasty Famille Rose Mille Fleurs (thousand flowers) plates. Each plate is 1” high and 7 1/2” in diameter. A large pink peony appears in the center of each plate; chrysanthemum, lily, hibiscus, iris and several unknown flowers fill the tops of the plates. This Japanese ceremonial Tenmoku style chawan (tea bowl) is a late Meiji period product. It is 5 ½” in diameter at the top, the foot is 1 ½” in diameter and 2” high. It has a very dark brown with white textured spots on the exterior. The base is not glazed and there is a swirl mark in the center. The interior of the chawan is richly colored black, dark brown, light brown and grayish blue. It is in excellent condition.

This very well made and hand painted vase is a 19th century product. It is 9 ½” high and 2 ¾” wide from the widest part. It depicts chrysanthemum and butterflies over a beige crackled body. There is a brocade pattern design on the top of the vase. The black hand-painted mark “Dai Nippon, Taizan Sei” is on the bottom. It is in great condition.

They have ribbed rims decorated with orange, gold, pink and brown patterns and drawings. Both dishes depict geishas and their servants enjoying themselves on an outing under cherry trees. These late 19th century Chinese Famille Verte ceramic bowls are 1 7/8” high and 5” in diameter. There are two green dragons chasing flame surrounded red globes on the outside the bowls. Inside the bowls, there is one globe with flames. There is an orange peach and lucky bat mark on the bottom of each bowl. Aside from some small hair line cracks due to their age and three tiny chips on one bowl due to the firing, they are in very good condition.
