This carved hardwood cup is 5 high, 4 ½ wide, 3 3/4 thick (both measured from the top). It is an early 20th century product. It depicts three sages surrounded by a river scene. Two sages and their young servant are on a boat; one sage is standing on the river bank. A huge rock, an old pine tree and some unknown trees make the scene very peaceful. Aside from a few small crack lines due to the age of the wood, it is in great condition.

This rare and unusual ivory carving of a sage is an early 20th century product. It is 10 high (with fitted hard wood base, it is 11 high), 3 ½ wide and 3 thick both measured from bottom. This image is the great Chinese herbalist and acupuncturist Li Shi-Zhen (李 時 珍, 1518~1593). Li Shi-Zhen is considered to be one of the greatest naturalists in China. This early 20th century ivory carving of a maiden is 15 7/8 high (17 ½ with base), 3 ½ wide and 2 7/8 thick. She wears a simple and elegant robe and holds a bouquet of flowers in front of her. The carving is superb and has nice patina. The wood base is a later made piece. Aside from some small hair line cracks due to its age, the statue is in great condition. This nicely executed silver alloy tea pot is a late-19th century product. It is 8 high (9 ½ high with handle extended) and 9 wide at the spout. The body is 6 Ό wide. The famous 8 immortals and their symbols appear over the entire hexagonal body and cover. The spout is the shape of a mythical animal, PiXie. The knob on the cover of the teapot is a seated PiXie. There is an honorable mark Great Qing Qian Long stamped on the bottom. It is in great condition.
