This BaLin stone carving is a 1970’~1980’s product. It is 3 1/4” high, 3” wide and 1 ¼” thick. It depicts a dragon playing with a fire globe surrounded by lucky clouds. BaLin stone is produced in Chifeng city in Inner Mongolia. The mine was found and developed in the mid-20th century. Now, BaLin stone has become one of the principal materials for making seal stone or stone carving in China. This carving is in great condition.

This circular jade (nephrite) pendant (or plaque) is 2 ¾” in diameter and 3/16” thick. It is a late 19th century product. It is carved on both sides and depicts a young boy holding a court tablet “Hu.” The boy is riding on a dragon headed carp and is surrounded by lucky clouds. This Famille Rose porcelain GuanYin figure is a mid-20th century product. It depicts a seated GuanYin holding a gold globe in her left hand. It is 10 1/8” high and 8” wide and 5 1/8” thick (both measured from the bottom). The artist name, Zheng Long Sheng, is stamped on the bottom. It is in great condition.

This very well carved and polished horn carving of a Zun (Chinese traditional libation wine vessel) is an early or mid - 20th century product. It is 5 ½” high, 6 ½” wide and 3 ½” thick (both measured from the top), the round bottom is 2” in diameter. Twelve stylized Bixie (辟邪) and different ritual bronze patterns were deeply carved into the entire body. The artist’s name is illegibly carved on the bottom. It is in great condition.
