| This finely fired guinomi (sake cup) of Yuho's darker Inbe style has a very nice crusty ash glazing from the firing. It is 1 7/8” high and 3” from widest part. Yuho’s works are not common in the US. He is the son of Okayama Prefectural Treasure, Sozan. His uncle Toyo Kaneshige was the first Living National Treasure for Bizen pottery. Yuho was born 1950. His works are popular in Japan and widely exhibited. He has also received the Japanese Ceramic Prize for his work. The artist name and seal are on the inside of the original wood box; his mark is on the bottom of the sake cup. It is in excellent condition. | ||
