| This is a very nice Song Dynasty (960 A.D.~1270 A.D.) black Jian ware temmoku tea bowl possibly from the Wuyi mountain kiln in Fujian province. It has nice slightly iridescent glaze with gray body and a preferred glaze style for the ancient whipped Chinese "white" tea. It was excavated before WWII by Marshall Plummer and James Foster. It is 2” high and 4” wide. It is in great condition. | ||
