The make-up table/box was made of huanghuali, boxwood and nanmu wood. Huanghuali wood was used to make the frame and back panel/decoration, boxwood was used to make inlays, where as nanmu was used to make box and platform etc. There are some old repairs/inlay lost, etc. But overall it is a beautiful piece of Chinese antique furniture.

19th century It's an antique Chinese necklace of genuine natural coral with a Kingfisher centerpiece pendant. As you can see, some of the feathers are gone...more from the back than the front. The gilt is very good. The necklace measures 16 inches around and the pendant measures 1 1/2 by 3 1/4 inches.
