Rare find in this glazed terra-cotta piece created during the early years of the factory of Rasmus Peter Ipsen (1815-1860), with the mark of 1850-1870. C Skrækkelig Hus Bas - Lettelse Plaque af Peter Ipsen. Ipsen was a master thrower and opened his factory in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1843. Documented, made in 1900 (see photo), this beautiful, delicate Bohemian Vase was made by Josephinenhutte, in Schrieberhau, Riesengebirge, in Central Europe. Seltener Böhmischer Josephinenhutte Emaillierter Kunst-Glas-Vase.
