Four exquisite, very rare, English, Royal Worcester, porcelain underplates, which would have been used with double-handled cream soup bowls; mark of 1929. The wide underplate / saucer band is etched in an all-over gold pattern, with an elegant, melodic raised gold pattern of shells, leaves, berries and concentric circles over the vivid green enamel. 6" diameter.
