Documented, made in 1900 (see photo), this beautiful, delicate Bohemian Vase was made by Josephinenhutte, in Schrieberhau, Riesengebirge, in Central Europe. Seltener Böhmischer Josephinenhutte Emaillierter Kunst-Glas-Vase. The glass house, itself, was established in 1842 by Count Leopold Schaffgotsch, and later, in the early 20th century, merged with the firm of Fritz Heckert (see our Heckert goblet Item no. 3496). Shimmering salt cellars on crystal stems, cut leaf & vine pattern all 'round which has been heavily gilded, and partially enameled on some of the leaves, and the pods. Applied foot is rimmed in gold, as is the bowl rim and center. Sharp pontil, ground (& gilded) rim. 2" (5.08 cm) tall, 2.75" (6.98 cm) bowl diameter, 1.5+" (3.81+ cm) foot diameter. Wonderful small Bohemian (possibly Moser) art glass cup, thickly enameled with plump strawberries, leaves, and flowers. Applied matching handle in deep, olive green. Deeply engraved rose and leaf pattern around body of the decanter, with deeply cut diamond points at top of attached cut stem.
