Exquisite, early 20th Century Venetian lampworked Art Glass "pearl" necklace. The colors in this necklace are beautifil...ivory ground, wide swaths of gold dust, squiggles of copper aventurine and gold, daubs of pink, blue, red and white, all glass, all typically Venetian. Glass "pearls" are separated by small cobalt blue glass beads, dotted with gold; age of the piece may be see in the loss of coloration of the gold-colored metal "spacers" up against each bead. ...click for details

Twenty-one (21) beautiful Burmese Rubies; 12 on the lower row, 8 on the second row, all about .09 carats; and one large one in the center, about .20 carats, or about 2.0 carats total. Gold mark has worn from the ring, but we believe it is 14K gold, and possibly 10K gold; the mounting is likely 18K gold. Spacer is attached to adjust for ring size. 19th Century Necklace in gold-tone mounts and chain, is from the Victorian era, and likely made on the Island of Murano, in Italy, where creating glass with the appearance of natural stones was an art. Each cut, multi-faceted stone has the appearance of dark Citrine, or Tourmaline, complete with the inclusion lines.
