Small, heavy, light patina bronze lion in warning position, unsigned, measures 5.50" (13.97 cm) long, 1.25" (3.17 cm) wide, 2.875" (7.30 cm) tall. Appears to be sand-cast which could indicate it is quite old, although we are most comfortable with the claim of "antique," knowing that this piece came from a collector of 17th-19th Century lions.
