A beautifully executed 19th Century Madonna painting on porcelain, with only an impressed number and an unknown symbol on the reverse. No signature. An exquisite little painting, in a lovely 19th century frame. The piece measures 1.50" x 1.25" (3.81 x 3.17 cm) image, and 2.25" x 1.75" (5.71 x 4.44 cm) to the outside of the metal frame. European. Condition of this rare, lovely piece is very good, with some expected loss to the glaze over the enamel. $9 US Shipping.
