Luscious, large contemporary Murano Art Glass Vase, created by Norberto Moretti for Salviati, in a series titled "Pizzicati". In Music pertaining to the violin family, Pizzicato indicates that the strings are to be plucked with the fingers. Pizzicati in Italian means, "pinched." 31 pieces of 1930s-50s Dorothy C. Thorpe dinnerware with Sterling Silver accents. Of all the pieces, only one retains the mark, in green (pictured), however, this is unmistakably a Dorothy Thorpe set, and is shown in Replacements Ltd., although in a different color.
