An exquisite late 19th Century, to early 20th, Venetian Tazza (a footed serving bowl distinctively Venetian), probably Salviati Dott., Antonio. It is pale green, girasol (opalesence) and much real gold leaf dust throughout the glass. Small ribs swirl out from the center, whirling perfectly out to the edges where it is rimmed in emerald green glass. The attached foot is the same pattern, only smaller ribs, and also edged in emerald green. It measures 8.25" (20.95 cm) diameter, 3.50" (8.89 cm) tall, and the foot is apx. 3.50" (8.89 cm) diameter. An elegant piece for the serious collector. We have included the first 3 photos without flash, and the 2nd 3 with flash. Excellent condition. ca. 1890-1914. $16 US Shipping.
