| Early 20th Century naive, folk landscape Oil Painting on artist's board; dense patches of purple and blue flowers interspersed with white flowers, hilly background, stone wall fronted by a cactus plant, unsigned. Attractive, orignal wood, gesso and burnished gilt frame, with the cove of the frame stained blue, and over-spattered with gilt. Image is 6" x 8.75" (15.24 x 22.22 cm), framed to 9" x 11.75" x 1.50" (22.86 x 29.84 x 3.81 cm). Frame is in good condition with a few small spots of missing gesso, scuffing, cracks; painting is in excellent condition, although it needs professional cleaning. c. 1900-1920. $14 US Shipping. | |||||||||||||
