Charming naive oil painting on artist panel, signed "A. Castine," lower right, for Alma Castine (1913-2006). Named "Nags Head, NC," as written on verso, and dated "1968." Sight area is 19.5" x 15.5" (49.53 x 39.37 cm), framed in wood to 26" x 21.5" x .50" (66.04 x 54.61 x 1.27 cm). A few minor surface scrapes, and some of the varnish may have flaked off. c. 1968. $28 US Shipping. |
