In the Renaissance style, the lidded urn is ribbed throughout in sommerso, cranberry glass, with a gold-included crystal disk knop sandwiched between the large, twisted finial and the ribbed lid. The bowl consists of three hollow, graduated turban-shapes, with an attached, very large, conical foot with thick folded rim. 13" tall (33.02 cm), 5.5" largest diameter (13.97 cm), 5" diameter foot (12.70 cm). Dull area at the upper pontil of the finial, could be a scrape, but probably original to manufacture; and a few tiny internal bubbles, normal in Murano glass.
