Very nice Still Life of large pottery vases and mandolin against a stucco-type wall, by listed 20th Century American artist, Muriel Ritchie (1900- ). Image is 19" x 23" (48.26 x 58.42 cm), framed in original, painted wood frame to 26" x 30" x 2" (66.04 x 76.20 x 5.08 cm). Signed, lower right, "Muriel Ritchie." Painting is in very good condition with craquelure, and some paint losses along the left side (facing). This may actually be original as there are several areas where the canvas was allowed to show through as part of the artist's painting style; however, we feel more comfortable stating our opinion, and we have priced the painting in accordance with any restoration the buyer might seek.
