A group of local art and antique dealers will convene at 30th and Penn Avenue in Pittsburgh's Strip District to sell their wares. Produced by Janis Wilson and Jill Thompson of Wilson Thompson Ideas, the recurring market will be held every "Second Saturday" of the month rain or shine. Every "Second Sunday" of the month visit the Regent Square Outdoor Antique Fair. That's right! We now have two great outdoor antique markets in the city of Pittsburgh. AREA ANTIQUE SHOWS: June 11&12 - 22nd Annual Exposition of the Decorative Arts, Annandale, VA 2005 ANTIQUES & COLLECTIBLES NEWS: HISTORIC HARMONY ANTIQUE SHOW - Thanks to all, who participated in the 1st Annual Historic Harmony Antique Show, August 26-28th in Harmony, PA. "Made in Western Pennsylvania" was the theme for the three day twin exhibit and sale. Over 30 dealers featured local artifacts from early frontier days to the mid-twentieth century. Proceeds from the event benefit Historic Harmony and its local preservation efforts. For information on future events, visit the museum's web site at www.harmonymuseum.org. NEW ANTIQUE MARKET IN PITTSBURGH - No need to drive miles for an outdoor antique market. On Sunday, August 21st, a group of local antique dealers convened at 1130 S. Braddock Avenue for the first Regent Square Antique & Collectible Fair. Shoppers were offered an interesting selection of antique and vintage glass, pottery, lighting, furniture, and jewelry. Many stayed to enjoy brunch at The Circle in the Square cafe. Hosted by Ann B.
