Holiday Sale for Procrastinators!
Brenda Benek Art & Antiques announces the Annual
Holiday Sale for Procrastinators! Waited till the last
minute to do your holiday shopping. Haven't even started
your list, let alone checked it twice. Dealers at the
Wagon Wheel Antiques in Valencia, PA are ready to assist with
your last minute holiday plans. Open M-F, 10am-5pm. Closed
Christmas Day. We have everything from vintage decorations to
that special holiday gift and even a Christmas bow. Browse our
online photo gallery at www.wagonwheelantiques.us , and
stop by today. BBAA's retail space is located in Building #4's
Sunporch Room on the 1st floor. Don't see the exact holiday item,
just call. There is plenty more in storage, and I am available by
appointment for your last minute holiday shopping needs. Sale on most
items continues through Sunday, January 2, 2011.

Harmony, PA. Weihnachtsmarkt continues today from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

BBAA Marks 1st Anniversary at the Wagon Wheel Antique Group Shop, Valencia, PA

Wow! What a year! September 1st marked the first anniversary of
Brenda Benek Art & Antiques at the Wagon Wheel. Thank you to all the
dealers at the shop for supporting my transition back to the antiques biz.
A year full of ups and downs, but with all of your much appreciated help,
the playing field is now looking a lot more uphill than down (Doesn't quite work
as a sports metaphor, but you know what I mean. Hey, I'm trying...).
Special thanks to friend & owner, John and good friends, Eileen H.
& Denny for all you've done and all you do.

Also thanks so much to the folks at the Richland branch of Dollar Bank
in Pittsburgh for their inspiration and support. What a send off!
Couldn't have done it without each and every one of you!

for laughs and love, to Marvin for cramming his Ford Focus
with boxes of unsold merchandise after the show (If I hadn't
bought that great Art Deco arm chair from Patty, I still couldn't
have made it in one PT Cruiser load home.), and to all my very special friend
clients who showed up for their good cheer and enthusiastic support.
Also many thanks to the staff and management of the Four Points Sheraton
Pittsburgh North for their kindness, for their generosity and for showing Patricia,
myself, and all the merchants at the show the true meaning of the word, hospitality.

NEW ANTIQUE MARKET IN PITTSBURGH - No need to drive miles for a monthly outdoor antique market. A group of local art and antique dealers will convene at 30th and Penn Avenue in Pittsburgh's Strip District to sell their wares. Produced by Janis Wilson and Jill Thompson of Wilson Thompson Ideas, the recurring market will be held every "Second Saturday" of the month rain or shine.

Every "Second Sunday" of the month visit the Regent Square Outdoor Antique Fair. That's right! We now have two great outdoor antique markets in the city of Pittsburgh. See you here and there!

HISTORIC HARMONY ANTIQUE SHOW - Thanks to all, who participated in the 1st Annual Historic Harmony Antique Show, August 26-28th in Harmony, PA. "Made in Western Pennsylvania" was the theme for the three day twin exhibit and sale. Over 30 dealers featured local artifacts from early frontier days to the mid-twentieth century. Proceeds from the event benefit Historic Harmony and its local preservation efforts. For information on future events, visit the museum's web site at www.harmonymuseum.org.

NEW ANTIQUE MARKET IN PITTSBURGH - No need to drive miles for an outdoor antique market. On Sunday, August 21st, a group of local antique dealers convened at 1130 S. Braddock Avenue for the first Regent Square Antique & Collectible Fair. Shoppers were offered an interesting selection of antique and vintage glass, pottery, lighting, furniture, and jewelry. Many stayed to enjoy brunch at The Circle in the Square cafe. Hosted by Ann B. Davis, owner of Typhoon, the market will be a recurring event.
