Silver Figural Pin. Circa 1950. Depicts three men in a boat from the Finnish Kalevala, an epic tale of three foreign kings, who brought an end to civil strife in Finland. The Finnish legend was the basis for the epic novel, Lord of the Rings. Marked HGL, crown in heart (Finland), 813H, boat (), E7. Approximate dimensions: 1 1/8" wide x 1 1/2" high. C-clasp. Excellent condition with age appropriate patina.
Onyx and sterling figural pin. Circa 1940. Marked STERLING, 925, MEXICO. Pre-Columbian motif. Carved onyx head with silver repousse headdress. Measures 1 3/4 high x 1 5/8" wide. Age appropriate patina to recessed areas. Excellent condition.
