American Art Deco chrome double candle holder. Circa 1935. Signed Chase with logo. J-shaped, uneven Taurex design, #24004, by renowned industrial designer, Walter Von Nessen. Approximate dimensions: 10" high (from base to top of highest holder) x 7" wide. Excellent overall condition. Some scratches to removable holders. Walter Von Nessen (1889-1943), a leading proponent of the American Streamline Modern design movement, created many of his pieces for Chase from the copper tubing and brass fixtures already in production. |
