| Brooch and Dress Clip Set. Circa 1935. Pave rhinestone chatons and channel set baguettes. Rhodium plated setting. Only mark is patent number for the clip mechanism, Pat 1952188, which dates its production to no earlier than 1934. Unlike other duettes popular in the 1930's, this one can be worn as a pin or as a pin and detached clips for dress, hat, or belt. Pin is approximately 3" long x 1 3/4" wide. Detached dress clips are each approximately 1 1/4" long x 1 1/4" wide. Despite graying of some stones, it has an overall brilliant appearance and remains in very good condition for it's age.
