A large, colorful necklace with carved rust colored jade pendant, long cinnabar connector, black carved leaves and lentils accented by brass filigree, red, black and multi-colored beads. Coin silver amber necklace that was purchased in Africa during the early '70's. Three of the blue glass embellishments are missing; one bell on the bottom of the pendant is also missing. The chain measures 21";the pendant hangs 4". 62 grams.
Old, large and heavy coral-colored cylindrical beads/malas worn by married tibal women in Bhutan. The forty eight beads range in size from 1/2" to 3/4" in diameter. Strung on string, total weight is 9.6 ozs. 17 -1/2".
