An early 20thC oil on canvas by Rhode Island artist, Emma Lavinia Swan ( 1853-1927). This is an unusual and rare scene since Swan is noted from her floral paintings. It appears to have its original black wood frame. Signed in the lower right hand corner. The canvas measures 9" x 9"; frame 17" x 17". Listed/Davenports.
