An excellent reproduction created by Dr. Miroslaw Mrozowski of Poland. A former chemist, Dr Mrozowski now creates a variety of work in metal, including icons and Judaic art.
This piece features a hand painted picture of Mary on masonite with Christ on the cross. It is named(Akhtuirsk Mother of God) for the town in Russia where the original was found in 1739 by priest Daniil Vasiliev.
