Here is a compelling full page ad that was featured in the New York Times, May 10, 1970. "Finally Your Senator Can Vote to End the War. Angry Americans. Saddened Americans....Your kids shouldn't go to college to get killed... Support the peace amendment sponsored by McGovern, Hatfield, Goodell Cranston & Hughes." Paper has yellowed and is folded and the names of senators who supported the amendment have been underlined in ink.

Slightly cocked (but pages are tight), spine is worn, and pages have yellowed. Minimal foxing. Published by TB Peterson & Brothers Philadelphia.(The Peterson catalog is listed on the back pages.) No date is noted for publication, however there is an inscription dated 1876. This body of work was written in 1849. Sold as is.
