| Rare and scare facsimile of Washington's Accounts from June 1775 to June 1783.As noted on the front page, "This book contains some of the most interesting documents connected with Washington's military command and civil administration; embracing among others the Farewell Address to the People of the United States. Together with an eulogium on the character of Washington, by Major W. Jackson, one of his aids -de camps. Published for the benefit of Washington's Manual Labour School and Male Orphan Asylum. CITY OF WASHINGTON P. Force, Printer 1838." Twenty eight pages of script, 52 pages of accounts, plus facsimiles of currency, ending with notes. Green hard cover book with raised flower detailing and gold lettering. Needs some restoration. The back cover is separating from the binding and there is some foxing throughout.
