| Circa 1940 Solid and deeply carved three dimensional folk art panel featuring a Filipino plantation scene. Laborers work in the fields while a plantation owner and his wife ride in their car. A volcano is in the upper right area. This piece is quite heavy, has a wire hangar, and previously served as a table top.Mahogany is not native to the mountain area of the Philippines and is found more easily in the lowlands however, it is among the fast- disappearing species of wood in the country.Weight approximately 24lbs.
