This magnificent rank badge is late Qing, and in fine condition. The peacock motif in satin stitch and liushi decorations in extrememly tightly bound couched gold thread.
This is a gorgeous, very good condition antique Chinese late Qing early 20th c. Silk embroidered robe in almost chartreuse spring green and finely wrought embroidered trim and sleeves. Fastens with fine carved brass buttons. The only conditioning issues are a discoloration / stain / watermark on the inner area of robe from exposure to damp trim, not at all visible when the robe is buttoned, and some light discoloration on the right hand rear shoulder.
Pair of beautiful antique superior quality Peking knot Qing Dynasty appliques featuring chrysanthemum, vase, fly whisk and undulating silk sash, originally both mounted on paper; one is shown for display purposes on silk velvet,while the other, (not shown) remains on somewhat deteriorated paper. Both are identical and in excellent condition otherwise. Both measure 9" in diameter.

Beautiful Chinese Silk late Qing dynasty skirt featuring beautiful silk, two elaborate satin stitch panels and intriguing rainbow colored hues. It is reminiscent of a Taoist costume. This two-panel skirt has had the original cotton tops of the two panels replaced with a yellow satin sash so that one may easily wear it as a modern skirt if desired. This Beautiful Kesa is circa 1920's, and is crafted of gorgeous silk brocade in metallic gold and lush purple. It is signed in the back in Kanji describing date and identifies the original high ranking priest owner. Although it displays beautifully, there are many areas which are splitting, and someone has unfortunately repaired some of these splits with glue, so it is "as-is" and priced accordingly.
