Measurements: 2 5/8" long with 1/2" diameter domed crystal
This is a strongly detailed pin with a reverse carved and painted portrait of a wire haired terrier (like Asta for those of you who are old movie fans).
While this pair is labeled "costume," it is as well made as any piece of fine jewelry. The bezel set citrine crystals match in color and size and the design of the pendant with its flanking pair of satyr or Northwind faces is very strongly detailed. ...click for details
This pin has everything -- but a signature. It is made of a gilded base metal using blue and white flat back rhinestones for decorative detail. The hanging "charms" spell the word "JAMMIN" - referring to the jazz practice of musicians getting together to "jam." ...click for details
Pink, deep plum, ruby red, aurora and clear rhinestone: This pin is a real stand out -- in excellent condition and without any stones having been replaced.

This pin may be silver vermille, although there is no silver mark and, while I believe that the design was done in the 1960's, the clasp is the earlier open "c" design.
The design is very well executed. The gilding is bright and unfaded. ...click for details
Measurements: 2" tall x 1 1/4" wide with fur clip prongs.
These clips are so adorable; beautifully detailed and colorful - probably from the 1940's. Set in base metal which has been chromed and having hand enamelled hats and boots.
Measurements: The heart alone: 1 7/8"x2 1/4", including the tassel and measuring from top to bottom: 3 3/4"
While this pin is unmarked, I believe it to be a Hobe from the 1940's. And, again, though the pin is not marked as "sterling," it tests as silver. The shimmering movement of the silver tassels makes this pin a visual show stopper.
