The etched floral design found on both sides of the lid was done by hand on a grinding wheel.

Dating from the 1930's and possibly German.

Marked "sterling" and "Evans"- the design mimicking pink, yellow and white gold. I believe that the design was originally created in gold by Cartier.

Measurements: 1 1/2" x 6 1/2" total length with 3 3/4" x 1 3/8" hand hammered brass ornamentation.

An beautifully modeled porcelain cameo bas relief of a woman in a flowered hat; set into an oval gold tone bezel. The chain is original to the pendant, though unsigned.

In good condition with two tiny dimples which are difficult to see because of the curving design. The spots which appear to be brown, will polish out. I did not polish the gold for the photos.

In excellent, undamaged condition with a subtle blue/purple crystalline glaze exterior and a lighter blue/purple swirled with yellow.
