This was probably meant to be a charm or an award (military?) and a ring can easily be solder on to allow the piece to hang on a bracelet or a chain.

Made of repousse brass, this is, I believe, of World War I vintage. it is signed "Lalique" and is in excellent condition with strong graphic detail. The style Art Nouveau style is consistent with the style of Lalique.
