Measurements: 5" x 10" base; 11" tall to the tip of the nose; 13" total width. This is an exquisite bronze rendering of a horse in motion, perhaps trumpeting its challenge to the world. The base of the statue is signed by the listed American artist: S. Bleifeld (b. 1914) and is both numbered and dated (1977). Beautiful, original patina. Undamaged and without repair. While not overly large, this figure has the most amazing "presence" - the line of the figure distilled to the essence of a wild stallion caught in mid stride. |
