Measurements: 4" long x 2" at the widest point Shiebler is most well known for its gorgeous flatware, but the company did make a small line of jewelry in the late 1800's to the early 1900's. This brooch, in the shape of an anchor, is hand hammered silver and as such, I date it to 1890 - 1910: the Arts and Crafts Movement of design. All original and without damage or repair. The catch is the early "c" catch. A great design - simple yet elegant. Wearable for any occasion. |
