A colorful, bold link bracelet of sterling silver and scarabs of carnelian, rock crystal, agate, amethyst and rose quartz. The stones are bezel-mounted on openwork panels, and the panels are connected by double ribbons of silver with applied curling motifs. The bracelet is marked for sterling, with an unidentified maker’s mark of Denise. It measures 7 ¼ inches long by 7/8 inch wide.

Gilded sterling round frames mounted with millefiori glass in vivid colors. Secure clip backs exhibit the Italian post-1968 mark for sterling silver, registered in Venice, maker’s number 166. The earrings look hardly worn and measure ¾ inch in diameter.

Nicely constructed of flattened sterling silver rings, with a secure toggle clasp. The bracelet bears the assay mark for London, a maker’s mark of TJ, and a date mark for 1993. All connections are soldered; the oblong link holding the toggle bar is slightly twisted. The bracelet measures 8 ¼ inches long by about ½ inch wide, and is adjustable to about 7 inches in length. Weight: 11.5 grams

A handmade studio piece, it sits comfortably around the neck and lies flat without gaps. There is no maker’s mark, just the 925 mark for sterling. The neck ring measures about 4 ¾ inches across, with a 3-inch opening. Internal circumference is about 15 inches. The widest area, at the front, measures a little under ½ inch. Weight: 28 grams

A modified wraparound style, with the sterling band terminating in two marquise-shaped pieces of onyx ring. The inside of the band bears a mark for sterling and an unidentified maker’s mark of two mountain peaks with the initials MJ. The larger stone measures 1 ¼ inches long; the top of the ring is just under ¾ inch in width. It is a size 8.

The bangle bears the mark of the Erickson Silver Shop in Gardner, Mass., where silversmith Peter Erickson specializes in hand-wrought jewelry and flatware.
