This sterling silver compact, made by Birks of Montreal, Canada, features an elaborate engraved floral design on the top. It is hinged, and opens to a mirror under the top and a powder puff, with remnants of powder, in the bottom. The back, which is undecorated, bears the Birks mark and sterling. The compact measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter, and comes with a slightly worn flannel pouch. There is a secure push clasp and some very minor scratches on the undecorated side.
