In an abstract design, set with small glass cabochons. The back is marked Bier and sterling; the rollover clasp is secure and original. Bier may be an Israeli designer; as of this listing, little information is available on this maker. The pin measures 2 1/8 inches long by 7/8 inch at its widest points. Gross weight: 8.3 grams

Decorated with applied silver and brass pre-Columbian figural motifs, on hammered copper panels. The white metal screw backs are marked Maya Mexico. They are bent but in good working order; they have been preserved due to the signature. (Conversion to clips or posts would cost $45.) They measure about 2 inches long by 1 inch at the widest part.

This lovely hinged bangle is set with a faceted glass citrine, flanked by applied cast flowers, leaves and Egyptian and art nouveau motifs. The band is hollow with a hidden clasp and hinge, both in excellent condition. The glass shows a few scratches, mostly from the underside. It is a well-crafted piece. The inner band bears the mark of W. & S. Blackinton, of North Attleboro, MA. The bracelet measures about 7 inches around the inside.

This hinged bangle is decorated with an applied grapevine on an elaborately engraved band. It is unmarked, but probably the work of Whiting & Davis. It appears to have been hardly worn, with an immaculately clean finish. It measures 7 inches internal circumference and 1 ½ inches wide.

Gilded sterling silver panels are decorated with guilloche white enamel, with black enamel and embossed flowers along the rim. The necklace clasp is in good working order, and bears the mark of Ivar T. Holth, Oslo. The box part of the clasp is marked 925 for sterling; the tongue is marked for .830 silver. The enamel is intact, showing no losses or cracks. The necklace measures 15 inches long by 7/8 inch wide. Weight: 66.6 grams

SOLD 

A transitional sterling silver with art nouveau decoration at the shoulders and a Greek key pattern around the bezel mounting that evokes arts and crafts. The amethyst is faceted underneath and at the sides and exhibits some scratches and wear at the edges of the table when examined with magnification. There are no signs of sizing. The inside of the band has a partial mark of the Arizona Turquoise Mines Co., of New York. The ring is a size 7 ½; the stone measures 5/8 inch long by 3/8 inch wide.

Composed of cast solid ovular links with a pocked and oxidized surface. The connecting links are recessed and securely soldered. The spring-ring clasp is original to the bracelet and is marked sterling, as is the back of one link. The bracelet measures 7 ¾ inches long by ½ inch wide. Weight: 18.5 grams

The larger sides formed as cast lobed rectangles overlaid with diagonal bands, the opposing sides undecorated ovular panels. The bridge links are tubular and well secured with thick wire rings. The backs bear the circular mark of Los Castillos with the Mexican sterling eagle mark. The rectangular sides measure about 1 1/8 inches by ½ inch. Weight: 11.1 grams total

A delicate but substantial sterling bracelet composed of oblong links connecting solid cubes. The bracelet bears the mark of Arne Johansen, of Roskilde, Denmark, 1954-1976. The toggle clasp is very secure. It measures 7 ½ inches long; each cube measures 3/16 inch square. Weight: 19.1 grams
