This lovely hinged bangle is set with a faceted glass citrine, flanked by applied cast flowers, leaves and Egyptian and art nouveau motifs. The band is hollow with a hidden clasp and hinge, both in excellent condition. The glass shows a few scratches, mostly from the underside. It is a well-crafted piece. The inner band bears the mark of W. & S. Blackinton, of North Attleboro, MA. The bracelet measures about 7 inches around the inside.

A transitional sterling silver with art nouveau decoration at the shoulders and a Greek key pattern around the bezel mounting that evokes arts and crafts. The amethyst is faceted underneath and at the sides and exhibits some scratches and wear at the edges of the table when examined with magnification. There are no signs of sizing. The inside of the band has a partial mark of the Arizona Turquoise Mines Co., of New York. The ring is a size 7 ½; the stone measures 5/8 inch long by 3/8 inch wide.
