Composed of a solid sterling silver wire strung with various discs and drum-like elements, enhanced with black enamel. The elements are moveable, held in place by small beads and wound wire placed around the bangle. It is marked sterling, and measures 2 3/8 inches in diameter. Weight: 23.4 grams

An impressive studio piece composed of hammered sterling trapezoidal panels, two of which turn outward to accommodate the shape of the pendant. The pendant features a grid of narrow rods decorated with applied globules of copper and a stylized bird-like element of gilded molten silver. The piece is unmarked, but tests definitively as sterling silver; it drops 16 ½ inches, including the pendant.

Handmade, of four solid sterling silver rods connected by double rings. A large, hand-wrought S-hook serves as a very secure clasp. The bracelet has a 925 mark for sterling and an obscured maker’s mark. It measures a little over 8 ½ inches long. Weight: 61 grams

Lovely guilloche enameling in azure blue, framed in embossed sterling silver panels. The oblong panels look like they were rearranged to control where the two discs would sit when worn; a competent jeweler could re-order them and securely solder the links. The back of each disc bears a name – Julie and Alice. The mark of Norwegian maker Aksel Holmsen is impress on the back of one the end panels. A substantial necklace of sterling silver cable chain decorated with applied, loose rings of twisted sterling wire. Each chain link has two rings attached to it, for a complex and interesting design. The necklace has a secure spring-ring clasp, and bears a flat link with the number 950 or 930 for silver content and what looks like L37. Unclasped, it measures 38 ½ inches long. It is dated conservatively, and could be older. Weight: 79.9 grams

Six separate bangle bracelets are composed of narrow, white metal springs molded into square shapes. They can be worn all together, as one kinetic bangle, or as two or three. The pair of cuff links exhibits a nice arts and crafts look, with sharp, detailed molding of a Greek key pattern around the edges. Patina is warm and the surface shows hardly any signs of wear. The back bridge bars are very secure and marked sterling; there is no maker’s mark. Each oval measures roughly ¾ inch long by ½ inch wide. Weight: 6.6 grams

The pendant is composed of what appears to be a very thickly molded pewter, roughly finished. Suspended from a sturdy cable chain. The back of the pendant bears an unidentified maker’s mark of Å.A. Pendant measures 3 1/8 inches long by 2 5/8 inches wide. The entire necklace, including pendant and chain, drops almost 17 inches; it does not have a clasp.

These long drops are made by folding an irregular-shaped piece of sterling silver around a curved supporting wire frame. The large ear wires are also hand made, with a tiny hook with bead end attaching them to the tops of the earring drops. Both are marked sterling and bear a partial maker’s mark, as yet unidentified. Each earring measures 2 ¾ inches long, including part of the wire, and ¾ inch at its widest part.
